Oh, I just saw that he has a contract until 2025. I Didn't know it was signed in 2019, 4 years ago.

Finish this season in style and have 2 more great seasons and I think we can land Bernardo Silva. #easy

I don`t see any point for such an investment when Thuram and Firmino are available for free.

Thuram was great 2 seasons ago, had a bad season the year after, and was okay this season, but is also injured right now. I'm sure we are not looking into him right now and searching for the alternative.... but there aren't a lot of tall, pacey players out there. Balogun looks like a totally different profile of a player.

I'm pining for not extending Džeko and getting Firmino, so we can have one "older winner" in our squad without having that "older winner" being a player from the Jurassic era.

Out of free attackers, the only other choice would be Moussa Dembele, Yikes.

I don't care for him either. He would have been a good option when being overlooked but he was getting a lot of interest and if that is still the case I would pass on him because the return won't be there unless he comes in on the cheap.
