Serie A has literally 6 good teams and each has 1 GK. So "one of the best" could mean bottom last lol.
I strongly disagree with you. Handa was shit with his feet at the beginning, with Conte he did manage the short simple ones less clumsy but I dont call such basic things as "good with feet" in professional football. Has he managed a single long pass, let alone key passes like Onana? No. Simply not good enough ability so he never does.
nah
@IM21 actually was on something, I remember how we got the Real Madrid fans in awe on how accurate Handa's long passes were.
Though, it is true Handa's accurate passes were not playmaking by any means in nature, nor would he attempt to faint an opponent pressing him like Onana would; however, if we are comparing fundamental goalkeeping skills such as handling, decisions, shot stops etc. Handa was a way superior goalkeeper at his prime.
Not saying Onana is bad, but people really forgot how good Handa was, he was just underrated most of the time, cause he played for a banter era Inter.
With that all said, I would rank Onana as the best goalkeeper in the world for the last season given the change in modern football, that his goalkeeping skills is already in the top tire, and ball on feet is just insane level, way beyond any other GK which some of the FIF members don't rate it much, but it makes hell of a different playing 11 against 10 players pressing you, there were so many advantages we gained.
Still I am not against selling him, I am against selling for a not high enough price for the #1 GK right now.
Handa was shit with his feet at the beginning
This is very true though.
