Y'all need to calm your dicks and/or pussies(if there's any here) down. Trust me, this ain't gonna happen. Atleast if it does, it won't sustain for a long time. I am calm as a corpse about this. There so many reasons not to cause a worry for about this, reasons which you apply little common sense, you'll be sure of. Like I said earlier, it's just a political tactic to for the hands of uefa into meeting some of the demands of these twelve clubs with regards to uefa competitions and European football general. I think you people are wise a enough/have grown to know about this. I am sure a lot of have come across this kind of issue either in the news or has happened in the political system of your countries/state/anywhere or even in your household, Were a small group of people threatens a countries government into meeting their demands through initiating violence. Niger-delta youth violence against Nigerian government, where youth of the region engaged in criminal activities (banditry, terrorism) to force government into meeting some of their financial demands, now they've been given amnesty and some financial grants. This has shut them up. This is a fine scenario to the one of ESL.
Why this ain't gonna happen? . This is like "us versus the world situation", can you compare the power of only a small group of clubs against the world- majority of the fans, Uefa, FIFA itself, national governments,(UK and French), the media. Do you really think their decision can usurp that of all this powerful entities? C'mon guys, it's just too much for them. Secondly, even if they go on, establish and start the competition, it won't last for long due to heavy sanctions that will be laid upon them, they won't be able to survive these. Imagine the clubs not playing their domestic leagues, participating players banned from international tournaments. This is very unsustainable. Thirdly, even if established, the repercussions that will come after will ultimately end up on these clubs in the long term, and they know that in mind. Imagine the death of european football if this goes on, of more than 30 European countries, there will be little broadcasting money, investments, sponsorships and ultimately little finances, all as a result of this ESL. The majority of football fans will then no more be watching football coz most of their clubs are now dead, if this happens where will ESL get the fans to sustain those amount of money.
Another reason to know that these are just pressuring tool, like a boycott, If really they wanted the ESL why did they not go straight ahead and establish it years ago?, why did they have to be consulting uefa in previous years to find a satisfying solution to them? Why did they release their intentions a day before the submission of new ucl format proposal? Why did have to deny this happening in previous years when speculation was surrounding and when they were asked?.
This reasons are just enough, can't you see. At the end of the day it will be a table meeting where a solution will be found. I am 100% sure of this.
