yeah we agreed to that 4 mio last season though and he just had a season that exceeded everyones expectation just pay up....

I'm fairly certain Acerbi can give at least two good seasons. He seems to be like a player whose level doesn't take a nose dive and he has great stamina (opposed to Bastoni for example).

As long as we remain a 3 CB side, he’ll be useful. I have no problems with this deal. He’s a good mentor for Bastoni too.

Well hopefully nothing too serious. We're quite thin at the back. The idea is to have Darmian/Bisseck, Acerbi/De Vrij, then Bastoni/Dimarco (where Gosens fill up the LWB spot). But not sure if Dimarco still remembers how to play LCB...

Acerbi is the only defensive starter we can afford to have miss time. At least we know what we're getting with de Vrij.

.... have DiMarco play LCB.... is a waste of a player dude was one of our MVPs to play him out of position because we are having a hard on for MFs instead of getting CBs and Strikers we desperately need.
