The problem is that in Italy when you buy ticket, there is name of owner on it. And I'm not sure if there will be ppl selling any out of SanSiro.

I know there's a name on the ticket. But most of the gate guards don't even read the names.

I can guarantee you sometime during the day guys will be selling tickets outside the stadium.

It's your choice but unless someone has another idea this is your only option with the tickets sold out.

Well, it would be even worst if I'd buy a ticket from a guy outside stadium and I wouldn't be still let inside.

Bah that really sucks. It could have been my life trip :(

They won't be checking your ID, they almost never do that...

Just buy yourself a ticket and go in. I only once got checked (a friend of mine actually) and I just told them that his passport got stolen and we got in :)

mancini is and
hello inter fans, im a red from lpool and would just like to say the tie is far from over, inter are very capable of scoring 2 in ten minutes let alone 90, no one over here thinks its over yet anyway.it wasnt a sending off we all know that, but we thought inter defended very well after going down to ten men,in fact there was more openings for us when u had 11, i was talking to some inter fans in lpool on the day of the game and i think u will find they were treated well, altho if we ever play roma i dont think they will be made wellcome due to the trouble we have whenever we travel there. we recieved 4thousand two hundred tckts for san siro but getting 1 is impossible, anyway heres hoping its a good game in 3 weeks, and thanks to the inter fans who applauded our singing of youl never walk alone

The people outside san siro wants around 200 or 300 euro for tickets which is unacceptable for me...
Does anyone here live in milano? I heard that sometimes there are some tickets left in bana popolare di milano or that music shops which also sell tickets.

I hope that we win and to qualify.
but i fear of what happened for inter in season 98/99, as every thing is happening just like that season.
we we in the 1/16th round i think(correct me if i'm wrong) of UCL and we faced MAN UTD and lost at their home 2-0 (2 York), then in the return league in San Siro the players played like hell, with every stamina they had and wasted lot of chances like Zamorano's one, Zanetti's shot hit the bar, Bergomi's chance and last chance too from Ze Elias against P.SH, but with the team character and personality we managed to score the 1st goal through N.Ventola who was at his prime that time and only 18 years he was.
I remember that game clearly but at the end what did happened the English team scored the tying goal in the 87th min through (scoles).
so i hope we play against L.Pool just like we played against Man.UTD 10 years ago and manage to success but it depend on the coach and players. 10 Years ago the started with a offensive formation but if Mancini tries to start deffensive formation just like what he did against BBilan in the 1/8 round in the return league of UCL season 2004/2005 where the same case did happened then we can say its over. He need to start with Figo, Ibra and Crespo or Ibra, Cruz and Suazo or Ibra, Cruz and Crespo or Jimenez, Ibra and Crespo or Cruz.
If the players have the desire to win we can simply win no matter who is the opponent just like Roma last season in the final of Coppa Italia in the return game.
Inter managed to knock Benitez twice when he was Valencia's coach in 2001/2002 in Uefa Cup during Cuper's time in Inter and in the next years 2002/2003 in UCL we knocked out Valencia and managed to qualify to the 1/4 th round.
So it depend on the players mentality for the game.

yeah but then again we had Cuper as coach...who let's face it ...was a far better tactician than Mancini. Hell, if he had the players we have now, back then..we would have probably won the CL by now.Anyway I am very optimistic about the return leg......you know maybe that's what GOD had planned for us....we get 2-0 beaten so that we realise that we are not invincible,we get our act togheter and play the match of our lives in the return leg knocking L'pool out. A true test of strenght.....who knows......The Lord works in misterious ways!
P.S: Damnnnn man....We need Figo so badly for the return leg! That's the only thing I am thinking about since Wednesday morning. And guess what...last night, after drinking way too much beer, I dreamt of having Adri(the old Adri) back with us for this one....Damn I miss him and his trademark long range shots:)

Nutcracker, I've never been to San Siro. But if u said u already got the plane tickets & the whole nine-yards, you will have a better chance to get a ticket there in the city (Banca Popolare/ music shops). I think u can also use Enrico's trick, I'm pretty sure that kind of thing happens a lot ;) It could be a life trip so u shouldn't give up just yet :)

Maybe u can meet up w/ a group of friends. I mean, if u're in a group of people and everyone else have tickets on their names, less likely the guard will catch ur one piece (if they do check at all). I understand ur concern though. I hope all will work out for u.

Luka, are you going to be in Curva Nord?

Just don't forget to screammm. As people already said, I too, believe that the fans support will play a big role in this return leg.

The interista in me still believes...We just need to be aggressive. We scored 2 on Milan,Juve,Roma which are top teams.I believe we can do the same against Pool.We cant conceed and then its a whole new ballgame..

You might think its unrealistic,as many threw in the towel already but this is coming from one of the few members who knew Liverpool were even more dangerous after the humiliating loss of Barnsley..

I just pray to GOD that they win big in their next EPL games and come to Meazza on a high..

Liverpool are very good at bunkering down, thats a fact. And considering our complete lack of creativity and imaginative plays i believe it will hard for us to score those 2 goals.

But i believe it will be even harder to avoid letting a goal in with our current defensive situation. Chivu and burdisso are both known to make huge defensive errors from time to time. Its clear at some point in the second half when its still 0-0 the team will get desperate for a goal and will start slacking defensively and they could well hit us on the counter.

We need to bribe the ref to get a liverpool player thrown out from the first minute if we are to have a real chance here.

I think we need Chivu to practice his free kicks and push hard upfront to get some of those he can convert..

Fast early goal will let them out of the box

Well chivu hasnt scored a freekick in ages.

But the fact that ibra for some reason always wants to take them even though he sucks at it doesnt help chivu getting the chance to score one either.

Ibra needs to stay the **** away from those freekicks.

I don't agree there. Have u seen INTER played lately? Chivu doesn't make defensive errors from time to time. Once or twice his clearance might not so clear, but it doesn't justify time to time (= always).

Nico did play below average till the red card he got in one of the match, then after that he always came in as a sub & have always been impressive.

All they need to do is to play more consistently from now till the Pool game, to gain more consistency & understanding between each other. Not that we have other choice, really.

Chivu hasnt played CB alot at inter.

But take a look at him last season at roma. He made plenty of really bad errors that resulted in goals, not to mention the united game where he was accountable for 3 goals atleast.

I agree. But like I said, we don't have any choice. We should have more confidence that after he plays these next few games between now & Mar 11, he should at least reach certain level of his best. Considering CB is actually his natural role, isn't it? I mean, I think so for as far as I can remember.

And maybe he did responsible for that 3 Utd goals, but maybe that's because he already had INTER in his mind :D Ok seriously, sometimes what some of our current players did in the past, doesn't necessarily mean similiar of what they're doing right now. I'm pretty much done talking about the past. What they can do now, what they'e showing that they are doing, is the only thing I'm considering.

Realistically, I'm not having a high hope for this qualification. Like Rocky said, 3-1 still ship us out. BUT, I also refuse to throw the towel in. We're going to fight till the end. Maybe, just maybe, something good will come out at it. I also want Mancini to learn something. So we can do better next year.

I think it will be a cold day in hell before that happens, considering he hasnt learned anything the past chokes.

Yea...u're right...about not learning yet so far
I'm still waiting though. He'll eventually learn. & 1 of the ways to do it is by giving it all out offensively in San Siro. He'll see it, we might even be rewarded ;) We shall see...

Being an INTER fan means u gotta have patience, like someone here says in his sign ;)

Now I'm off to watch Live-INTER on DVR. Maybe my mood will change after this :D

Guys...I really should stop visiting this thread because your pessimistic view is letting me down...especially, azzkikr's posts and avatar. I'm not arguing with you guys...but if you want to sack Mancini just because of this year's CL...I just want to say I'm glad that you aren't Moratti

The good thing about the situation is that we have nothing to lose and we are playing home...Just throw everything at them and we might score those two goals. They will get nervous the more we pressure them.

Suazo should feature this time around, cuz it will be tight and the guy can create his own space.
