Hakan Calhanoglu insists Inter ‘want to beat Napoli’ when the Serie A season resumes on January 4, as he gets warmed up with a great goal in Malta.
The Nerazzurri came back together over the last 48 hours to resume training during the break for the 2022 World Cup.
They played a 6-1 victory over local side Gzira United, including a trademark Calhanoglu free kick curled into the top corner.
“I hope to get a goal like that in Serie A too,” the Turkey international told the official Inter website.
“We rested both physically and mentally over the last few weeks and now we want to prepare well, with a test coming up against RB Salzburg.
“It’s important over the next few weeks to work in training on what we didn’t do well in the first three months of the season. We want to beat Napoli.”
