Atalanta won against Napoli, FREAKING ATALANTA. And people here is telling us it's okay to lose against Roma because we win against smaller teams? Loser mentality. You guys deserve Mazzarri.

no human being deserves mazzarri. not even mazzarri.

:yao:

we failed all the big tests tbh

Napoli ok it was soon after the FdB era with a crisis on our hands
Lazio in Coppa
Rube
Roma

:eek:kay:

we scored once against Lazio and one against Roma...our attack capitulates in this games...we have trouble scoring...we are not clinical

Icardi all alone,Mario is no scorer,Candreva is a joke lately, every game worse in fact,Perisic has epic misses as well...shit man
Banega doesn't play much...while he should more often,GabiG deserves to star over Candreva and even Eder is better than him tbh

On the one hand I agree with those who are mad at Piolo. Against both Juve and Roma he's changed the formation to be more defensively minded, rather than going head to head with our opponent. Big clubs don't change - especially in a must-win home game. They impose themselves on others. Mancini made the same mistakes in his first spell at Inter (despite having a superior squad) and it held us back - especially in Europe.

On the the hand, what's he supposed to do? We're not yet good enough to outplay Roma, Juve or Napoli. Our defence is rubbish. Roma's three CBs were all superior to ours today, and would all walk into the team (alongside Miranda). He tries to suit the formation to protect our biggest weaknesses (defence, particularly FBs), but that means sacrifice comes from somewhere. Today our formation largely nullified Salah and Dzeko, but we got punished by individual brilliance. Ditto Juve.

It's tough to watch, but Pioli can only work with what he's got.

3 man backline...forces candreva and perisic that bit deeper, isolates Mario and icardi.

I wonder what an opposition needs to do in order for us to get a penalty tbh... launch a rocket in their PK area towards our player or the plural form
Probably even then this totally biased refs would say, nah, carry on son

We should change leagues tbh
I had enough of this incredible BS
And nothing changes,we just let it happen...

We were robbed of a penalty and Nainggolan's second goal was irregular(sentence coming from an ex ref no less)
While of course Roma got it for a much more debatable penalty offence than that of Strootman on Eder...he took him out karate style tbh and nothing!

Rizzoli,Tagliavento,Rocchi are just scum refs protected like rhinos from the ref organisation and FIGC

Yes we were the worse team in general but this little decisions can turn the tides and they did...we could at least get a draw with competent refing
Fuck you if you think ref decisions don't matter this much!

The better the team is standing the more it is protected..
What kind of fucked criteria is this
Only in Mafia land!

Its a matter of experience.. just look at our young midfielder kodg, gagli, joaomario (23yo) vs nainggolan, strootman,de rossi (27++)

this is a good point who no one noticed.

I mean of course its good to have young stars like Gagliardini or Joao Mario. But we have really enough of this now. And today without Miranda but instead with Brozovic, Joao, Gaglia, Icardi, Muro we had really too much players without leader experience.

Thats why i hope that we get some of this players at June. Please not Schick or something like that.

They were more willing to give more time to their coaches to prove themselves. Consistency is a key, we need to give Pioli full season in charge

Not surprised. A home fixture against Roma isn't really a home fixture anyway. They love playing us at the San Siro. And they love putting 3 past us at the San Siro. Just look at our past meetings against them at home for the last 10-11 seasons and count how many of those fixtures they have managed to score 3 goals.

I'm under the impression that pioli did not try to adapt the team to the opponent, but rather to our weakness, especially the left flank. After all.we played with a 3 men defense against Bologna as well. He definitely doesn't.trust ansaldi anymore and I have to suppose he doesn't trust nagatomo either. Santon must have serious physical problems, or maybe the management simply wants to force him out, either way I'll simply leave him out of the discussion.

But at what cost, pioli? You have been deploying some players out of their position and this system doesn't seem to cover the field properly.

Yesterday Salah had.two big chances, dzeko had at least one, so it's not like we actually stopped them.

D'Ambrosio has been performing well in his true role, while he's been mediocre at best on the left.

So see, pioli? Keep things simple, like you did for several weeks, and it worked.

Honestly, I expected this and I'm like in limbo on this, did we play real badly? Was the game balanced? I really don't know, it was a weird game. We weren't Inter, and the approach was wrong, albeit that Pioli wanted to try to take the game to Roma but we already made that mistake at the Olimpico. I think we could have been smarter and more cautious, close down space and hit on the counter but we went balls to the wall. We need to keep in mind that we concede two phenomenal goals (one off a foul) and a penalty so it's not as bad as it looks but still the defeat hurts. I'm glad I'm not a player because tbh I lost all my optimism and we just hit the Earth hard, too bad we didn't start with Pioli because the points we lost early on made us suffer.

Kindly note that the manager still has my full support and Ansaldi has been shitty so he doesn't deserve to play these games.

Oh ban Thohir.

We missed a lot of chances btw which is infuriating.

Well hopefully this will kill the 3-4-2-1 formation which was such a poor idea to begin with. We play best with 4 at the back and even though our full backs are mediocre, this formation does give enough support for Perisic and Candreva to unleash their attacking talents which is integral to our success. Plus the midfield looked so crowded and Kdawg, Gagli and Brozo seemed so confused about their roles.

We're still a far superior team than the one he inherited. Plus, it's not like this Roma team isn't a good side.

I don't deny, but I think that Pioli don't have neither class nor mentality to lead a team like Inter. You have claims for a 2nd or 3rd place and CL spot, but you don't have win against any of your direct competitors. Then you have no right to talk about CL or something like this. This is my opinion. We were shockingly weak and all of his decisions last night were wrong.

In this case, I can say the same for you. We are Inter, not Lazio.

You can claim as much as you want that we have some divine right to a top three place, but the reality is that the sides in those spots are either just as good as ours, if not better, and that's why they're ahead of us. So claiming Pioli should resign because we're behind them is comical at best. Especially given that we haven't lost any ground on them since he has taken over.

a poor performance. lost alot of 5050s and passing was terrible

i thought ref got pen wrong personally and should have seen the push for 2nd goal.

however roma are better than us right now despite us having more big names in starting 11

candreva was shite and gabigol needs to start games. look at the quality of his crosses

at least icardi scored.

all is not lost. win next 2 games and we could be joint 3rd after all

p.s broz needs to go in summer. hes only good once in a while and not fit to lace banegas boots.
