well i dont know where the insinuation that Florida is where they are headquartered has come from - I dont see it directly in the tweet, unless Brehme has another source.

Anyway, re the sponsor. It's a little annoying its being left late, but as long as we do actually agree one before the season officially starts, it's no skin off my back.

Tech companies in Florida:

Imagine if its Citrix or Wix. Fucking lol.

Alienware would be cool tho

Wix is yikes 😱

HQ state is irrelevant. It's US based. Probably Silicon Valley.
I had this discussion a couple of days ago and confirmed that one of them isn't it :D My guy didn't hear about this at all but I'm not sure if it's something that circulates before it is public anyway. Doubt they care enough to gossip about a few million in Italy.
But you said:
You replied to a post that says we have a replacement that will be unveiled publicly when the team is going to be where the sponsor is headquartered.

Or is your point they're going to be US based, rather than Florida based.

I think it will be either Intel or Amazon, anyway I M going to miss that Pirelli logo.
Doubt it. Amazon are very data driven, I cant imagine inter justifying RoI on their investment hahahaha

I dont know if Intel have sponsored sports companies before? got any historic examples? Sponsors generally are meant to be D2C companies who are likely to drive direct engagement to their bottom line. Not always, of course.

I think Intel actually sponsored Barca for a bit. I remember vaguely about having the intel logo on the inside of the shirt so they could say it was powered by intel or intel inside.

I either have remembered that obscure fact from yesteryear or I just made up a whole lot of BS 😂

Inter's jersey without Pirelli looks just wrong, but if the new sponsor brings a significant financial increase then fuck Pirelli. I rather lose Pirelli than losing players like Hakimi due to lack of money. Bring it on!

I will repeat myself. A (probably) big American company investing in an Italian club owned by a Chinese company that seems to get into the hands of a communist government sooner rather than later? Does it make any sense?

Personally I hope the investment is not just related to a shirt sponsorship but as well a controlling stake in the club.

We will see.

Inter is gonna single handedly deliver world fucking peace.

Now we just need a midfield pairing with an Israeli and a Palestinian or Iranian to really bring home the point

You're severely underestimating how often American businesses already invest in China.

And they're not necessarily viewing it as an investment to some Chinese group operating in Europe. They all want some of this big "soccer pie" as they call it.

Strategic partner being US based, sure, that I'd not believe. But a sponsorship, why not?

BBC article covering Man Utd and Newcastle supporters trying to buy out their club. Look at the numbers and scale being discussed - no chance of succeeding.

important to appreciate the 54k people they currently have have not made any financial pledge (AFAIK), its effectively a petition right now. And, as the article highlights, there's the whole issue of the glazers, different share classes, etc still to go through

Maybe deserves its own thread? Or should be in the financial one at least.

Di Marzio says Socios is likely to be the new sponsor.

Cool?

They're already partnered with Juventus and Milan among other clubs, doubt it's anything significant.

And from the little I've checked, they seem like a BS thing with NFPs or Tokens or whatever they call this shit.
