Yeah, I meant the fact Milan have the H2H tiebreaker over us. Them winning the Scudetto because of that Giroud brace would be the end of me.
Poor Giroud, I really wonder what he deserved to be so hated. :D

Radu is hoping that milan doesn't draw vs sas. If we lose the scudetto by 1 point his mistake becomes decisive. He will go down as the new gresko if that happens.

Radu's mistake was the last and most visible of many this season. That does not excuse him because he failed to step up when he was really needed and significantly cost us as a result.

But let's be honest, if we could not beat Atalanta in January (given how poor they have been this season), Milan when we had a 1 goal lead and let it slip in the last 15 minutes of the game, Sassuolo (whom we lost to at home 2-0), Fiorentina (with whom we drew) and Genoa (who have now been relegated) then we do not deserve to win the Championship.

I hope Radu goes out on loan or finds a new club because I am sick of him being continually tied to us with there being little to no prospect that he will play for us again.

And what about Bbilan which got 2 points out of 6 from Udinese, which drew with Salernitana, which lost to Spezia at home as well as Sassuolo, do they deserve to win? Ultimately, they simply made one less mistake than we did.

still, though, its ridiculous to put it mostly on Radu. We've consistently fucked up good positions this weekend - we were like 10 points clear at one point in time? That's not "Radu". Radu was the summit/culmination of a large number of fuck ups. The fact that we were ever in a position where we needed a result vs Bologna was a huge fuck up in the first place.

What about the wider team for completely crumbling against Bologna? Is that also Radu's fault? Do you think that would have happened under Conte? What about Dzeko, 6 goals in 27 league rounds? What about De Vrij and all his fuck ups this season? He cost us the title probably more than many other players.

If we point out ONE game in this season where we shouldn't have dropped points or should have get more points, IMO it would be away game to Genoa where we didn't manage to score.

Putting some single blame to De Vrij or Radu is just plain ridiculous. We could do that rehearsal to any player who has consistently started for us. It's a team sport, individuals make mistakes, that is happening everywhere.

People love to find scapegoats who they can blame and vent their anger on. Team loses as a team and wins as a team.

I don't like to single out a certain match or a single scapegoat as a reason that we didn't the title at the end. Every point we lost along the way counts in the title race. But if I have to pick one which tops the list of our fuck ups it's gotta be the loss against Milan. 3 points given to our direct rival, as well as giving them an head-to-head advantage. Even a draw could put us above them right now, but we threw that match away in the most shameful way.

But whatever happened happened. It's pretty much pointless going though IFs and lingering on regrets.

How this guy is not to be blamed?

losing to Milan in a way wasnt our fault entirely, as also losing to Sassualo,Fiorentina, Geno etc as teams do catch bad form and nothing can be done about it, especially Inzhagi is not a Prime Mourinho or Klopp. But what Radu did was entirely our fault and was totally avoidable. There is a difference between 2 stars on jersey and 1 and this guy is the major reason why it might not be there

If Milan win on Sunday then you can clearly conclude Radu's howler had no impact on the title race. Go back and watch the Bologna match. We weren't scoring a second goal.

We've gone from like +10 points clear to 2nd place. If you think that falls on Radu you're just having a laugh.

Yes, in a way, his mistake has cost us 1 point against Bologna, but at the same time, there's no team reaction, where was the leadership? This was our reserve goalkeeper, ffs, whose barely played in the last two years.

People are so quick to observe failures in defense, but what about blunders in attack? Missed, easy, shots that would have won us games that we drew or lost - I expect much, much more from Lautaro/Dzeko in terms of not making mistakes than Radu.

If you're gonna be upset about anything, I'd focus on the Milan loss. That was a much more direct impact on our scudetto challenge (both the match itself, and the impact on our team in subsequent fixtures) than Bologna.

The radu mistake is on another scale compared to the other mistakes. If we lose the title by one point it will forever be remembered.

Gresko wasn't the only mistake that season but it's the one remembered because it happened in the decisive game.

Yeah remembered but that's on them who remembers only that one mistake and not the big picture. The mistake was enormous but the end result was still just that we conceded one goal. Same as making smaller mistake which results to a goal conceded or smaller mistake on the other end which results goal not getting scored.

I agree and you are right about that. The problem is that Radu wanted to prove that he has the feet and is capable of playing out from the back. It was an attempt to try and show that he can do what Handanovic (and Onana) are both capable of. It was the wrong moment and game to try that kind of thing, especially as he had not played since February. The prudent thing for him to have done would have been to put his foot through the ball and hoof it long instead of trying to be "smart" and show the world what he had in that moment.

And strangely enough, all he managed to show was how unprepared, incompetent and horribly out of his depth he was to the detriment of his club and its hopes for the Scudetto.
