Salaries don't account unless they're paid. The 8m Euros is amortized at the 4 years contract. His book value is now 4m so if they give us 13 we'll make a profit if 9m.

I wish we had sold Ranocchia before Murillo. With Murillo's departure now i have a deep sense of foreboding that Ranocchia will remain with us and start playing games if Miranda or Skrinio get injured or are out of form :palm::palm:.This is such a typical Inter mgmt move as well.

Selling Murillo and putting 1000% on a CB no one knew 2 months ago is a huge gamble. To me Murillo was beastily when he came. Then turned to shit. Rather let him go for free or 2 million then sell him now let him compete for his spot.

Yeah because he is Colombian. I'm not sure if he was Argentinian.

I guess maybe he wants to be a guaranteed starter for a WC spot and when he was last in spain he knew he did well. Cant believe we are allowing him to leave for just 13mil.

Shame though, because he was a good CB to have and now all we have is literally Rano and maybe Medel if he doesnt leave. We really need to get rid of the last 2 and good some decent replacements in asap.

^ that WC thing and also he might feel betrayed by the club? I mean he was around for so many years, sent Juan to Roma and Rano was his bitch. Now when finally he was about to make it to the 1st team, we signed Skriniar. And we`re linked to other defenders, too.

In any case, it would be 13+bonuses [up to 15], but I still hope reports are not accurate and we are holding out for more.

IMO this is just stupid. That we accept what the player asks since he asks to be transferred to a poor club who can't pay that much to us.

Is it really that the management doesn't value Murillo higher? It can't go like if player doesn't wanna be at Inter, he can choose the destination no matter how poor they are.

Makes me fkn angry selling Muro for only €13M to Valencia, we need him, but I can understand his World Cup starting spot wish playing regularly in LaLiga. And at the same time we have Ranocchia as a veggie on the stands, hes not even listed as a First Team player on Inter.it for crying out loud.

Stone fkn statutes with high wages have to get the fukc off from this club, but its a regular mistake we make every year.

Selling Murillo for 13m while Ranocchia is still on the team :palm:
I hoped Spalletti would give him a chance as a RB but it seems Spalletti doesn't really rate him. Now we need to get two CB. And in this inflated market we won't be able to find a replacement for less than 20m. We'll end up regretting this deal.

So Murillo is the next young player we destroyed and will shine with other club just like Coutinho and other.

No problem, we lost Murillo but we get Skriniar.
I hope we can buy better CB to replace Murillo.

No problem with him getting sold. He didn't live up to expectations.

I couldn't care less. Either ship him to mars for whatever cost or keep him as a back up for Skriniar and Miranda.

Do you know what is funny about this thread and the sentiments being expressed about Murillo and Ranocchia? Most people are talking as if Ranocchia is a marketable and transferable player wanted by other clubs. But the simple fact of the matter is that he is shit and the only way we will get rid of him is when his contract expires. As for Murillo, I saw enough last season to want him out of the club. We don't need a defender that frequently gets caught out of position, loses the player that he is marking and makes school boy errors at the back. I loved him when he first arrived but if he can not maintain that level play on a consistent basis and if he is not trusted by our coach then we should get rid of him. The amount does not matter and the fact that he supposedly wants out is ample excuse for us to show him the door.

Murillo has no tactical awareness. As puma mentioned, he constantly gets caught out of position. It's no coincidence he looked fantastic for the first four months here when he arrived and Miranda was basically the best CB in Serie A and constantly covering his butt. As Miranda's form dropped, so did Murillo's. He's not a useless player, but he's not overly useful. I would keep him as a back up, but if he wants to go I would either:

1) Buy a low-cost alternative back-up, such as a Izzo who will never start for us buy can be a versatile bench player
2) Buy an established player (such as my ideal CB, Inigo Martinez) who can push Skriniar and operate in a back 3 if Spalletti chooses to do so
