I think it is on Correa not the coach.
We have exemples in the past. Players who boomed later in their career. They became better not because they added more skills, but because with age they knew how to use their skills better.
Milito hadn't play in the first league in Europe until he was 26. His first and only big club was Inter, when he was already 30. And what a fantastic player he was.
Luca Toni played also until 27yo in Serie B. And after that, he was a monster.

Correa has all the attributes to be a great striker. Mentally (decision/timing) he is not there. If he improves that, this will be the difference between a good striker (what he is now) and a great one. The package is there.

Wow, incredible debut. Inzaghi must be having a headache deciding who should be the starters from now on. Lautaro, Dzeko, Correa. All great players. Not to forget Sanchez who we haven't seen play a minute under Inzaghi too.

Love both our Argies at the moment, both with different characteristics. Lautaro is frantic, Correa is elegant. But they both wreak havoc for sure.

today I spent some time watching youtube compilations and I probably watched all his goals in Serie A and I think it was his first goal with header in Italy and he scored it after 2 minutes on the pitch. Funny :p
Mbappe also scored his first header goal over the weekend. I see the universe conspiring here.

Not perfect pass, someone with poor first touch will mess up that pass from Toro

Thought he was fantastic when he came on and I can see him bagging 15+ goals easily.

well his 3 season with Lazio

20/21
8 goals, 4 assists in Serie A
3 goals, 2 assists in CL

19/20
9 goals, 4 assists in Serie A

18/19
5 goals, 6 assists in Serie A

He was never really a most definite starter for Lazio, but usually was the first one to come on. I'd say the numbers are alright, considering. I never thought he was better than these numbers, but maybe playing with 'better' players will help him unlock his true potential.

impressive and he wasn't even a starter yesterday

their team doesn’t exist ….

bolivia is like running in outer space. Most people but them are use to that shit. That is why they win and tie at home. Away from home it’s like playing against 8 year olds.

don’t be impressed by a team beating them at home. If they beat them in La Paz yea then that is something to celebrate
