I think Asllani needs to put in the effort himself too, stop blaming everything on Inzaghi, today the gameplay already try to min his weakness, his main def duties are not even in the box, Frattesi got it covered, but Asllani needs to get better in tackling, positioning, and off ball movements.

Anyone writing this guy off either doesn't watch him, has some crazy standards or i already predisposed to writing him off. These criticisms are way off base for a 21/22 y.o. who has limited playing time - mainly because he plays on the team with the best midfield in Serie A with a risk averse coach.

Lay off Asllani. Maybe he should have gone out on loan to get some additional playing time - but the amount of negativity on his skills here is quite annoying.

This is maybe the only issue with him. But he's just 21 years old. He's at highly competitive environment. It could have been better for him to leave on loan, but then again, at Sassuolo you can't really prepare yourself playing for Inter, playing at demanding Meazza, training with top players, with a coach whose target is to win the Scudetto.

It's not ideal for either the coach or the player but now that he's here, everyone's gotta do what they can. Inzaghi is doing the right thing trying to slot him in.

Well you are putting forward a narrative that he is complaining or blaming Inzaghi which isn't true.
In every albanian interview i heard of him when he plays with the NT he has always said no to the possibility of leaving on loan and confirmed that he is learning a lot while training with big players and sees that as a growth process.

Of course he won't be happy if the situation is the same 2 years from now, but as of today he hasn't said a single word of complain about his usage. It's only the media that creates this narrative

We love to talk about youth players and development and giving them a chance but unless someone is camavinga, bellingham or pedri and can't break into a starting role at 20 - we act like the player doesn't belong here. That is the narrative I find irritating because we can't afford the under 23 potential superstars.

It is actually a great idea to debate some of the most common fan arguments on the podcast haha - Icardi, Asllani vs Agoume, Lukaku (although I guess there isn't much debate that Lukaku is trash anymore).

Overall awareness is also not there and since this isn't a physical player, he cannot compensate that.

I see same thing as he shows at Inter. He has vision, intial attacking, good pass and control but not good at recycling ball or a bit of grit. But in national team he plays higher than for us.
