Just like I run to the forum when proven right I have to put my hand up when I get it wrong.

I got it wrong about Lautaro, I thought he was dispensible and many strikers in the world would be an upgrade. I said we should take the money and run but I was very wrong.

This isn’t even because he scored a hatrick today.. I always felt he was wasteful especially with big chances.

This season he’s been immense in the build up and always showed up with the goals when it mattered. I noticed it at the tail end of last season but he’s become even more reliable now. Perhaps its the extra responsibility he shouldered when Lukaku was gone and he was given the arm band.

World class player, I was wrong he is indispensible to this team.

Monster. Oshimen is probably the better striker but wouldn't trade him for Lautaro. Our tradition with great Argentines continue.

The first goal? The second goal was the highlight for me. I've seen too many Inter players not score from there from a pass like that to not appreciate the technique.

I thought a clinical Lautaro would be a far fetched dream. I can’t believe we are probably witnessing him reach the heights of that mythical mountain  talismanic performance!!!

Don't have one.
He definitely grew as a striker, especially since he was given the captaincy, that kinda changed him. I rarely see him flopping as well, which is a great improvement and one that annoyed me to an infinite degree.

The only thing he needs to improve as it stands right now is his brain farts in the middle of the pitch and his relentless press, which imo is often too much. He expends way too much energy on it and needs to pick and choose when to give it all and when to have a more measured approach.

4 we’ll taken goals. It’s scary how different this Inter is when he or Thuram are not playing together.

It should also be mentioned that we got away with his giveaway at 1-0. That would have been a momentum changing goal and I doubt we go on to score 4.

4 goals off the bench. Ridiculous. What a player.

That being said, we’re fucked without him. Sanchez and Arna have been tragically bad admittedly in their few appearances. Please stay healthy El Toro.

Glad that he finally gets recognition he always deserved (mainly from Interisti whom were rather harsh on him). Of course he's more crucial nowadays but even in previous seasons he was extremely important to this team, that a lot of things he has done in usual, stats wouldn't show that. Amazing player, so lucky and proud to have him in the team.

The one thing I would say for me is that I want to see him not being too streaky this season, and also continuing his clinical scoring abilities.

I have to say I wasn't sure how the captaincy would impact him. It it's been a resounding success. He's really matured/stepped up/whatever you wanna call it under the spot light. Full kudos to him.
