That would be Buck Shaw Stadium in San Jose, CA. Home to the San Jose Earthquakes... shame of a stadio, really :palm:; as Visca sad, there's supposed to be a new one in the works... but I don't know what's happening with that, either.....

Damn! San Jose for that matter! That is a true face palm. With all the high tech companies they have there, they should have a worthy sponsor who can spit a stadium for them in no time!!! For crying out loud, they should have some mega project overlooking the bay!

Oh well, then comes the question of attendance. NJ has a pretty good home, yet I don't think they fill half that place....

SJ is the city... don't forget. They are building a plan, but they are currently playing at a College in Santa Clara.. not even in San Jose!!! I don't really have alot of passion for MLS as said before. Landon Donovan moving to Houston just killed me inside!

say what?!??!?!?! Donovan is moving!?!? Since when? I didn't know that. Landon & Clint are my fav stripes players. In my opinion, Donovan should be at a major European league!

The Earthquakes were a team back in 2004... then they became the Houston Dynamo. Correction on Donvan moving to Houston... meant to say the team itself moving. I just remember his success in the early 2000's with the Quakes. My mistake.

Ah! Txs for the clarification. MLS & NFL are the same thing to me. I know nothing about either.

The Earthquake's manager and coach got an extension today. Congrats on earning one after knocking out the red bulls in the playoffs last year!

Sorry... I'm actually very Casual with MLS. Usually I'm only able to pay attention to scorelines and standings... not always the players names. That's the problem when the team is a revived one and the initial team had Landon Donovan back in the day. I'm unable to answer that question. :palm:

Last I heard Rafa is doing fine but Titi not so much... but then I'm the same way, I don't really pay much attention to MLS either.

Rafa got moved from CDM to center back this year, pushing a former Metrostar and club legend Carlos Mendes to the bench. Overall a good move. Along with Tim Ream, Rafa's been able to distibute well out of the back and since we've been playing more of a possession game this year he's been really important.

Henry sucks. Injured every other week. Doesn't jump for balls. Doesn't run. Most people think that he's just here for the city and doesn't really have his heart in the team.

One of the games of the year for me today. Red Bulls at Philadelphia Union. Should be an absolute rout.

Thanks Bling. :palm: at Titi! So he is pulling a Snake (Youri Djorkaeff) on them :palm: That is why I have been eternally against that stupid idea of buying washed out, former European league stars as a solution to boost the MLS. One of the most ridiculous business models I ever came across!!! Why not challenge for youngsters across the world & put some real money into the league? Give the damn clubs the freedom to do as they see fit with contracts, instead of their so called "caps". Go to Africa, South America, Asia: you will find young talent, that just need a little motivation.(For now it will be extremely hard to compete with European talent coz they already have a successful base). The MLS can make a name that way! What is the point giving Beckham and Titi 50 million dollar contracts, and say it is a means to get attention?!?!? Heck, Beckham spends more time in Manchester than in Los Angeles!

Thierry had the best selling jersey last year. That's why.

True, that may have given some funds to the Bulls (& Galaxy-Becks); but how does that help the MLS in the long run? Remember the jersey sales in this case are probably only in the USA & maybe in Canada & Mexico. Whereas if u can put the league on a global spectra, then u will be talking jersey sales all over the world! I mean, even some African leagues (that hardly have any finance) are far much more successful than the MLS! How & why on earth will Beckham make more money in that league than Donovan?! Oh well, just my opinion. The MLS will remain a 10th tier league for the rest of humanity, unless they can make some drastic changes.

This has got to be one of the most interesting ways to do an anthem. I know it happens in Canada all the time, but compared to O Canada, our anthem is so hard to sing. Good going Portland. Notice how off key a few notes are.
