Brozo is 4 years older though. Does it make sense to ask for cash plus?

I think we really lack a player like Kessie tbh. He’s underrated as a player by many on this forum I think. I distinctly remember him completely obliterating us in more than one derby and being Milan’s best midfielder in a while before Tonali started stepping up.

Barella is a more attacking oriented player than Kessie, but I get the comparison. He could certainly deputize for him, but I still think we lack someone with his characteristics. Gagliardini is supposed to be that guy, but we all know he’s not.

I wouldn’t do a straight swap because Brozo is a core player but Kessie+a decent fee might be tempting. Brozovic is a legend but his fitness is becoming more of a concern and fixture schedules aren’t becoming any less dense.

Plus Hakan has arguably played better in that position and we are developing Asllani.

Kessie was free and never plays and isn’t wanted by Barca

Brozo is our best player arguably….. a straight swap is insane.

Kessie will also want big wages to come here…. We need money. I’m cool selling Brozo not trading him for someone who won’t make an immediate impact on our team.

Brozo’s best is likely behind him. On top of that he’s becoming fragile as shit. If Barca can toss in 10-15 million I’m driving him to Barcelona myself.

Thinking 20 + Kessie….. tho our management is awful prob will do even swap and give Kessie higher wages than Brozo and Skrinar

Does Barca even have expendable amounts of cash?

I hope our managment do this deal? Brozo has had lot of injuries this season and are not going to be any younger.

Last season Kessie was vital part of Milan succes and was good partner with Tonali. I think Kessie-Hakan-Barella would be great trio and he would bring that much needed muscle we currently lack.

Straight swap would be good business (y)

This is the logic why this swap would be considered. But still, it would be a huge risk given all the variables, already discussed in this discussion.

This is the first time Brozo has had a lengthy-ish injury streak in all the time he's been here, and this shit world cup played a part in it, i'm sure. Let's not pass judgement in his fitness until he's back. He's one of the most reliable players this team has had. Giving him to fucking Barcelona now would be stupid. Let's not try and do any those assholes any favors, shall we?

The problem is that we’re arguably fine (debatable anyway) without him with Barella - Hakan - Mkhi. This could make the board think it’s ok to trade him now but sending him away after he extended would send negative signal to soon to be out of contract players, especially Skriniar.

Broz had an injury, recovered as one does, played a bunch of long, extra time games in a short period period at the World Cup and picked up another injury during a match.

It’s a bit early to say he’s suddenly become injury prone or write him off as a finished player.

We should try to scam Barca as much as we can. We're in good position considering that now we have Hakan to replace Brozo.

No straight swap, should be Kessie + money or Kessie + other player.
