I have to admit Branca did a great job in BUYING players this mercato, given the situation (limited funds and no UCL).

But he still has major issues in SELLING players (I mean for money, not dumping them like Gresko would deserve...). I believe the deal with Udinese for Handanovic was easily reached, so why not keep it secret for a while until selling Julione?

I really don't think Inter need big signings or to spend 30-40mil every summer on 1 player, but if we did, Branca could't do it. He can only sell them. Every "big" player he tried to buy went somewhere else.

Palacio 10,11 mil, Guarin around 10 and Handanovic and all that before any of the so called sales. He had much more than 15mil, but failed to sign Lavezzi for example. He failed to sell Maicon and JC the whole summer ffs

I agree, more or less, (especially about handanovic and Guarin), but you totally missed my point. I said if we needed to sign a big player Brnca couldn't do it. I specifically said we don't need a big signing we just failed to get him. You can rationalise as much as you like, but we failed to sign our no.1 priority - Lavezzi. And my second point was that we had money for that.

It's not about moaning, it's about rationally looking at our transfer market. People are on orgasmic just after few signings, even though we didn't even see them play. That's completely irrational, like past 2 miserable years didn't even happen.
