Why not? I think he will perfectly fit in the team. Also a good replace for Cambi

bismilah, everyone has been whining about dejan stankovic declining, and couldn't performed at his best as a dm, failed to cover the defence, and we need an ADEQUATE replacement for cambiasso(he's not young anymore, at least we could rotate him with someone). sahin said that he will stay at real and obviously mourinho thinks sahin as a direct replacement of alonso.....nigel de jong we're not an idiot that only think to tackle brutally(he's not kevin muscat or joey barton for god sake...) and nigel de jong isn't a bad passer :palm:....in fact nigel de jong is actually a good passer, it's the same case when the majority of people thinks cambiasso suck at passing:palm:...cambiasso is not a bad passer, he's been underrated that's all...cambiasso is player with high football iq, just remember him at the treble winning season, before treble, or his first and second season in inter...
de jong is a solid defensive midfielder that able to distributed the ball well, in manchester city last game, u see, he's the one that spread the ball to the left or right, or pass it to the center....he pull the string from behind as well as provide a cover for the defense two....he exactly knew how to build attack from behind, simply put he is a midfielder with a good football IQ...he knew exactly when is the perfect time to spread the ball to gael or zabaleta....and his image as a tough and brutal tackler will give us an advantage...ibra, cassano, marchisio, will scare when they face a player with de jong reputation, even't before the match start, they know "that it's ain't walking in the park"....and definitely that will restrict their movement.....de jong is the complete package for a DM, he's not only able to cover the defence two, but to spread the ball from behind....and for ten million, u got a pure DM that can tackle and pass....well done, take it.....

alhamdulilah, thank you....

ps: fuck juve and fuck milan, fuck barca, fuck every single team in the world, except inter!!!!!! YEAHHH!!!!!

From Netherland vs Bayern Munich right now, i see that he is typically same with Cambi. He is enough for us, but after City playing on CL, why he consider to play with us in EL? c'mon.. he will get his chance with City.

I believe when Mancini talked about Balo, then he talked about him as well that he is on transfer window as he has talked to his agent and wanna leave, i am not sure if that is true, but i guess he has only one year contract and he doesnt wanna get new contract

bzzdk, did you see that? (ned vs bayern) How De Jong keep the ball from 3 man of Bayern? :serious::pokerface:

now i think, he is more complete midfield than Cambiasso.

wait, you mean .. De Jong has only one year contract?

Yes next year it will run out, so that is why inter is after him, Cambiasso have 1-2 year max and cant play more then 30 games a season, signing him is a good idea,

And yes i did see he is good he does play well.

City ask for Maicon, and that sound crazy for me.

Maicon for Dzeko or Silva:pazzini:

I would rather have Valero if we want to sign a budget midfielder. Pure destroyers really are not used anymore. Cambiasso is not just a pure destroyer like De Jong as he has played in more advanced positions and has an ability to score goals. The way Strama has set the squad up, having a player like De Jong really makes no sense unless he plans to push the wings up and utilize a MF as an extra CB. He is not a good passer, not very mobile, and rarely scores a goal.

On the other hand Valero can pass, play a one-two, and make an extra man in the attack. By no means is he a great player, but for the rumored 6m, he could be an asset to the squad. Think about it, Guarin gets injured and our only attack minded MFs left with passing abilities are Obi and Poli.

I think we are also forgetting that if Maicon is traded for De Jong, we are left with three full backs: Jonathan, Zanetti, and Nagatomo. One could argue for Faraoni as a back as well, but I see him as a utility player for multiple positions. This would force a move for another fullback. There is only one true option in Isla as he is the only player that could replace the quality of Maicon, and his transfer with Udinese is not a certainty.

IF Inter want another MF, I prefer Valero or a midfield with passing abilities. Another option would be Veloso. I have little faith in the Isla transfer so I'd like to keep Maicon. Kolarov could be an option at LB but his wages are huge and the transfer would cost quite a bit.

I'm probably the only one who would prefer Maicon to stay :work:

I think next season with Strama in charge...Maic will be great. We know Strama likes to attack now maic may make mistakes defensively but he's still the best attacking RB in the world, I believe if he stays he'll have an awesome season :work:

Hydez u don't make a single sense. 1 mid as def? So r u saying de Jong can't mark and block? And a mid fielder who can shoot? His name is Guarin sir.

A swap deal with Maic and De Jong would be pretty good, Maic needs new motivation and De Jong gives us a stronger midfield and makes us push up more. Not to mention it would make us move for Isla.

De Jong's passing can be suspect. I dread a midfield with him, Guarin and Obi.... Anyway, why this guy when we already have Obi?

I already consider this transfer season a failure, and it has just begun. I know it's pure fantasy to have Robben here, but one can dream, and if he comes this miserable nonsense will be over. Still pure fiction...
