Pedulla says Sarri wants to wait till end of May to see if Juve will pay the penalty or not.

From Champions to Pariahs in less than a week. Grande. Still hopping for Sarri to come in, so at the very least I can take smoke breaks with him, making me feel closer to the team;)

This feels like one of those dreams I have where my football manager resume is considered good enough by the club and they hire me

Everyone went crazy cause Inzaghi, guess what? Miha,Deki,Cambiasso, fkn Zenga here we go...Hillarious!

I would be very worried if Marotta quits. Till we have Marotta at the helm, I have this confidence (maybe a fools confidence) that we will make a reasonable choice of coach under the budget constraints.

My big worry at the moment is what is that budget. If what the media is saying is true (80m capital gains + 20% wage reduction), then we are looking at a serious downgrade of ambitions. Hopefully the media is not accurate as often is the case, and things aren't that bad.

Di Marzio said we’ve made another attempt for Simone Inzaghi as he still hasn’t signed.

If Suning planned to have all these ridiculous names come out, then sign Inzaghi to make us feel relieved rather than angry, then it’s genius.

I’m still pissed though, I hate Inzaghi.

Inzaghi is prime Mou compared to Deki, Miha and co.

Or after Pazza heart issues, lung issue might add up as well.

Same. Despite all this madness i haven't changed my mind about Inzaghi. He can improve his players but that's where his advantages end. I would certainly prefer Sarri over him.

Btw i don't think we would have to make many changes with Sarri in case he decided to go for 4-3-1-2 which was his main formation at Empoli and at the start in Napoli and Juve. He could turn Brozovic into his new Jorginho, he already wanted Barella at Chelsea and he had Vecino at Empoli. We could look like this under Sarri:

Handanovic
Hakimi - Skriniar - De Vrij/Bastoni - ?
Barella - Brozovic - ?
Eriksen
Lukaku/? - Lautaro

We would certainly need new starting lb as i can't see Sarri going for Bastoni as lb. We would definitely need a new LCM. Someone similar to Zielinski. I would also sell Lukaku as i think he would be a very bad fit in Sarriball but that's not totally necessary. And that's it. It could work.

If we wanted to go with 4-3-3 then we would have a problem. On top of the mentioned changes we would have to sell one of the forwards and probably Eriksen and bring at least 2 wingers. Perisic is the only winger in the squad and he isn't the typical Sarri winger.

My options would be Sarri, Conceicao or Stankovic for different reasons...

But if we sell Lukaku who would partner Lautaro up top in a 4-3-1-2?

We would obviously bring another forward who is a better fit for Sarri. That's why i put question mark there. It's not like selling Lukaku isn't an option in our situation.

It definitely is an option but selling him while finding a replacement while maintaining a +80m Mercato and still reducing the team salary is incredibly tough.

With our luck, we would sign Sarri and then find out the next day he has Stage IV lung cancer from smoking like a chimney his whole life so maybe it's just better to pass on him and not be the reason he's going to die in six months.

Yeah im starting to like Inzaghi, im happy that there is still a chance to get him. Compared to other otpions (Coincencao, Miha, Zenga, Fonseca..) it's still a decent option

Don't have one.
Yep, it will be inzaghi, apparently according to di marzio yesterday's meeting wasn't about renewal but about inzaghi telling lotito he wants to accept inter move and how much it would mean to him to do so.

And if all of those shitty names were a trick from someone to accept inzaghi, well it kinda worked for me as well. :D
