That March date must have been wrong then...Maybe they just have to pay that penalty by June 30th. If that is the case, Juve will wait until the last possible second to pay that fee because if Sarri signs with a new team before then, they don't need to pay it. But if they do not pay it, they will be stuck paying him 6 million again. So they will definitely pay it, when though?

Yeah. I mentioned it. I am pissed with both Mourinho and De Zerbi. The former couldn't wait a fucking month before joining freaking Roma and the latter decided to go to Ukraine when half of Serie A is looking for a coach.

It doesn't explain though why they couldn't have an agreement from now and just wait for that deadline to end. I remember a similar situation when Chelsea wanted Sarri who was still tied with Napoli. Maybe they fear hiring Sarri would require too many changes in the squad.

There's an argument to be made about Sarri over Mou, but absolutely not for Inzaghi IMO. Mourinho with a backline of Skriniar - De Vrij - Bastoni would have performed really well, unlike that disaster of a squad he had at Tottenham (Son and Kane not included).

Feel like a chronic whiner like Inzaghi would get eaten alive by the media and expectations surrounding this club. I actually like him from a tactical perspective and think he does a lot of good things there, but the club expectations, the mentality he shows when he makes cowardly substitutions...if Suning is happy with top 4, he can probably deliver that, but we just did spent the last several years hoping for top-4 while seeing Juventus win the Scudetto every year, and this was supposed to be the end of having to tolerate that. Nobody is going to accept going right back to that reality.

There's an argument to be made about Sarri over Mou, but absolutely not for Inzaghi IMO. Mourinho with a backline of Skriniar - De Vrij - Bastoni would have performed really well, unlike that disaster of a squad he had at Tottenham (Son and Kane not included).

Yeah, I can see Mourinho doing very well with this Inter, as long as we give him a good winger or two and a DM. Our squad is built for counter attacking football and hard work, which is a style that suits Mourinho. I rate Sarri as a coach, but this squad does not suit him that well. But he is someone who can work with the players and develop them, so he would just need more time. Inzaghi I just don't rate as a coach, not at the same level.

Also to succeed at a toxic and chaotic environment like Inter, a coach needs a lot of character and needs to be a bit of a cunt. Conte, Mourinho & Mancini all had that in spades. Sarri may also have that. Inzaghi will get chewed up and spat out.

Lol you can't evaluate a coach from head to head performances. If thats the case Inzaghi has beaten already Allegri on coppa italia final and even in the league.
The evaluation of a coach in my opinion is done through the following questions:
*Does he have the personality to handle big name players ( yes)
*Does he have the name to attract big name players ( no)
*Does he have a clear play style which has proven to be effective on the long run ( yes )
*Can he handle decisive matches ( yes )
*Can he grow the level of the team through daily work or does he rely on big name players leading ( the 1st)

So inzaghi based on the above in my opinion deservers the chance to train Inter. Whether he will be successful or not is another question.

That's why I'm not concerned about Conte. He was bad for us tactically. What he did bring was mentality and toughness.

Regarding Inzaghi, he has outsmarted Allegri in the past. But he can't do that consistently against all the other clubs. He doesn't have that mentality that we need.

The only options I'll take beyond Sarri are Stankovic or Conceicao. And that's because those 2 are not proven failures yet.
