We cant get him to play competitive matches till he is 18. Wonder if we can bring him sometime later in the season so that he gets familiar with his future team mates and Jose also gets to know his game a lot more.

And common, where did I say he will come straight to our starting line up. I have been very careful with this and I have mentioned "amazingly / surprisingly" starts for us. I ain't a dreamer as well.

Just meant to say that, there is some hope and shouldn't be a hopeless solution, especially in Inter (for a play-maker less team).

brother, live in Rio de Janeiro and I can talk. Vasco is one of the most important teams in Brazil. we are in the second division is a disaster that will be corrected soon. And Seguna Brazilian division is much more difficult to play than some European leagues. Coutinho not been playing 90 minutes because the team is in 1st place, and does not need to risk an injury to the player.

I am happy that you say so. I had the idea that Vasco might not have any interest in developing the player as he is already sold and the price is set.
Because he seems to have the quality for a starting spot from the clips I've seen. He seems to be something of a fan favourite as well :dielaugh:

I believe that for this kind of player, scoring abilities come with age. The best thing he can do now, is keep on developing his game intelligence and physical strength.
If you're only fast and a brilliant dribbler, chances are that you will end up like our own Kerlon- useless. Nani in Manchester United was that kind of player aswell, but I think he is improving.
