Tbh he had so much space there, it would be a disaster if he had not scored that one tbh :work:

Reason Swansea look so shit is because they're resting players for the League Cup final next weekend. Normally they are not this bad.

Only 5 first team players played. Easiest game Liverpool could play this season.

The reason you see Swansea play so bad, is thy do play with there reserve player, as they are in Final of Capital One Cup so he rested the players.

Every time we sell a young player, we should lock down their threads for 3-4 years and then come back. Will avoid a lot of useless debate.

In the last few years, the only young player who made done decently well after leaving us is Bonucci. Of course, there is Balo but he is an exception and had to be sold irrespective of talent. And there are numerous others who have gone bad like Acquafresca, Krhin, .. So far I have no reason to believe that Coutinho, Poli and few others will give us any reason to regret this decision years down the line.

Exactly. If they win the cup they will play in EL next year.

Yes, good job Cou. Didn't see the goal but I just saw a Suarez goal where the Swansea players looked like amateurs. Pretty shite defending for a top-half of the table club.

The EPL defending isn't very good at all, it's not a surprise.

In terms of Cou, i think we will definetly regret this one big time. Bro we are regretting Balotelli since the day he left becasue we still haven't found a replacement for him. Cou will be the same because we don't have a replacement for him and also Sneijder isn't here and you might say well we don't need Cou as an attacking mid/creative mid but you will start to have second guesses once Cassano can't play games as consistently at a high level due to health reasons. The whole world will be asking us why we gave up a world class player which is what Cou will become. The funny thing is that everyone sees it except our management.

They were playing against a reserve team yet Sturridge still looked like garbage..

Good debut for Cou...provides something a little different for them in terms of vision. All their other wide players kinda lack that vision and instinct to get into good attacking positions. Let's see if Rodgers can help him improve his execution though.

Sturridge wasn't garbage, he knows how to open spaces and run.

I'd kill for a Sturridge in our team.

Sturridge has improved Liverpool without a doubt. He is very direct and plays as #9, which makes Suarez to drop deep and link up the play. With Sturridge, Liverpool looks much better and also Suarez. Also they have someone who is not afraid to be in the box.

Cou had his moments and considering that's his first start in 2 months, that was impressive debut. Once he regains full match fitness/sharpness he will be even better with like of Suarez, Sturridge and others who likes playing short passing game.
