One season wonder that also went to CL semis with another club by beating Real/Juve

What ever he did in that subpar league is honestly irrelevant, he managed one good season in a major league and at Ajax it was hardly because of him they got that far they just had an exceptional team in that season.

He clearly lived on having capable defenders in front of him, put a worse defense in front of him and he is mediocre stopper who makes woeful blunders and amateur mistakes. Let’s be honest massively overrated and we got a fantastic overprice for him… He is a good passer yes for a gk that is but I simply don’t trust him after the horrible show he put up this season and No it’s not because of a poorer defence he make absolute amateurish mistakes that simply is should not be defendable.

What capable defenders in Ajax (except De Ligt) he had in their run to EL final and CL semi final? Davison Sanchez? Blind?

Team of cunts that i hope will be relegated. They were good and super aggressive but also too dirty. The ref gave it a go and i usually like it but some moments it felt like they try to injure our guys and this is one too much.
Horrible performance by us, they overwhelmed us by the intensity, pressing and aggressive game but we got a point at the end.
I think Inzaghi did a mistake by not starting Thuram in this type of a game since he is the guy to run behind when they pressed high.
Pavard was one of the best on our side, alongside with Thuram but the rest of the team was just overwhelmed. Glad that it happened now and not in super important stage and im sure that this will bring our boys down to earth after slapping Bilan so hard. You can see even by Toro's tired celebration that this one was hell of a fight we didnt prepare well enough to.
We will slap them in San-siro.
Forza Inter!
Agree totally

You can't possibly though Onana will play here like he is playing there. United is complete mess. I don't care how bad he is looking there,he is great GK. Bring him on free loan next season if possible.

Europa league final also.
What is with the obsession over Onana? We fleeced United with that transfer. More of that please. It's a GK ffs who cares? Move on.

The only problem I have is that Simone thinks this is all him and not some players individual qualities. He thinks his ideas can be translated by all players equally.

In no universe Asllani benches Frattesi, or Arna benches this version of Thuram.

Anyway... actually not anyway:

You can't put Arnautovic as a starter against a team who played very good against Real Madrid couple of days ago. It was one of - if not the most important game of the group, away game against Sociedad.

A win here would've been 100% qualification.

Not the end of the world...

Pavard solid.

Same here, that is the only problem I have with him all along. Again I think it is a trait of openness, hence his versatile and flexibility; not jumping to conclusion judging the player, but you as a manager you need to know not all players are equal.

Anyhow, I think his gameplan was very different than what we saw.

Oof that was rough. Sociedad deserved 3 points as they were fantastic. Our players, outside of maybe Pavard and Sommer were well below average. I’ll take the draw but man we have to be much better against Benfica

Not sure about them being fantastic, but of course they were dominating the match and created a lot more. I do agree that they deserved 3pts but not always the team that dominates the mach, wins. I think all the credit goes to Inter for being utter shit, rather than Sociedad being that good.

This game shows, we are a team that is not inferior to anyone, but not superior to anyone at the same time.
We cannot take any of our opponents lightly, and we have no reason to fear anyone.

One tough point.

2 or 3 times we were saved by the bar.

Sommer also did some nice saves.

Can't complain with the result.

We'll do better in return match.

No Milan player
thuram has been the game changer for this game as sociedad defense really struggled again his pace and physical presence.

aslani look lost. he is not useful to neither defense or offense. if hakan is unavailable and we are against technical midfield like sociedad, i would prefer trying having defensive midfielder instead. is agoume eligible for cl squad?
would rather take chance on starting him over aslani in this sort of match

Couldn't watch the game, I just saw that we were 1 goal down, and Barella got the red. Today, in the morning I saw it was 1-1 the final result, and I was so happy. Good result for us, and finally some pressure on the team, which will help them to be more focused. I was afraid that after trashing Milan, the boys could slack it a little.

Spanish teams always seem to be tough and technical with good defense. Wish we would have found a way but fuck it next game up let's go.

as I said to my Milan friend, they have bigger shoot of making out of a group than we, they will be hipped for every game, and we really don't have big clubs, maybe Benfica, and we saw yesterday what approach we took, we underestimate an opponent and play bad, really hope I am wrong, but it won't be an easy way out
