I hope I’m proven wrong. His vision and passing looked incredible during the 2022 preseason, but at the same time, he was often brought on when our opponents had subbed on their teenagers.

What worries me is his ability off-the-ball. What makes our midfield tick so well is our movement, especially when we don’t have possession. Just look at the derby, where Milan had most of the possession and our midfield always looked in total control.

Hakan-Brozovic-Miki-Barella all know exactly where they need to be. Asllani might have had it drilled into him in training by now, but I haven’t seen it yet, and this worries me.

I’d be so stressed if I were Asllani. But having been vice-Brozo and now vice-Hakan, he will have to step up.

If Asllani gets Dumfries, Mkhi, Barella and Dimarco by him, he’d be okay. Things will get tricky if he also needs to play with Frattesi and Carlos. Not because they are bad players. But Asllani might not be familiar with their style.

As fans, let’s make sure we will give Asllani a second chance if he has an underwhelming performance tonight. Real Sociedad has been very respectful in welcoming us to their stadium. That’s a confident display. We need to put the Derby behind now. This will be a tough away match.

Yep same here. I'm more worried about the defensive duties he has to do playing that role than anything else, he had problems there in the past. Still remember how frattesi scored that header over him when we played against sass last season.

But you would expect from your second option regista to be able to deal with a team that is coming from pot 4. It's kinda make or break scenario for him coz if tonight's game ends up being too much, i m afraid inzaghi will give him even less chances, given our midfield depth.

He is 21 I don’t think anyone in their right mind will judge him in all eternity from one game. There years yet for him to develop, hopefully he dos a passable job but can’t really judge him too harshly if he doesn’t.
