Ironically, this 19 years old newbie has put in one single game a better performance than all of our 'natural' LBs over the past 15 years apart from Maxwell (partly because we've had HORRENDOUS LBs).

He looked very nervous at the beginning, well naturally, but then wow. A actual young LB with great athleticism and natural footballing talent. Could this mean the end of Nagatomo's glorious era at Inter?

Good game for a debutant. Solid at the back and helped the attack a lot, dude can pass better than D'Ambrosio. Also nutmegged Bologna's players like twice.

Very good performance. He started slow but improved a lot during the game. Towards the end he was leaving a lot of space in the back as well, maybe cause he was instructed by De Boer to stay in attack, I don't know. Anyway very promising. Was a jizz to see Gnoukouri and Miangue combining and passing their way out of the opposition.

Looking forward to seeing Di Marco play if he is supposed to be better than this guy. Seemed to tire late on so may have to work on his fitness as it left us exposed at some points but nothing that cant be worked on

Forgetting Chivu somewhere in that list? Just because he was the 'worst' of the treble squad doesn't mean he was bad in his prime. Even Zanetti played occasionally LB at times
