Muntari is a decent player, but we already have a whole squad full of decent players...

We need players that will make us go up in quality, and Muntari is hardly the player to do so.

As a rotation player he is alright.

But its the usual with Inter getting the "good, but not great"- players, there is a reason where there is hardly any competition from other big clubs for 90% of the players we buy... We get the trash that has low chance of succes that no one else wants.

5-6th rated talents, mediocre 20-30 year old player no other big clubs want and 30+ former stars is sadly the only thing we can attract.

AZZ... pls, i know you are better than this, because i have actually read some stuf from you.. Muntari, is one of the best central midfielders in Africa right now, along with Essien. If you call Muntari average, then i guess you also think Essien is average, because Essien is not better than muntari.

also, if you think Muntari is average, then you think Flamini is average, because he destroyed Flamini last year.

finally, you need him - he is different from what you currently have. you cannot take the light wieghts you have and play against hatch men like Poulsen/sissoko, and Abrossini/garrusso/flamini. they will eat your guys alive, thats why i need a strong man like muntari.

that said, I do not think the lampard deal is over.

To say that Inter can't attract the games best is debatable while to say that Inter attracts big names is also debatable.

The only player we have who can be considered a worldclass player atm is J.Cesar. Samuel was world class last season, but we have yet to see if he can recover completely from injury and continiue from where he left off, i sadly have my doubt.

If Zlatans consistently starts scoring real goals instead of just penalties he could be considered one as well, but thats a big IF.

We have a squad of good players overall, thats the point we dont need more "good" players like Mancini and Muntari, we need a few "great" players who can add something extra, that something extra that can turn a game to our advantage.

Right: Maicon + Zanetti.
Left: Maxwell + Muntari.

Though we have too many midfielder in Vieira, Cambiasso, Stankovic and Pele. One of them is leaving for sure and I think it's Pele (used in Quaresma's deal).

I don't have much to say about Muntrai. I'm still really surprised that no big club signed him last season. In fact, I think that he's a better signing than Lampard, specially for term long plans.
