Milan is rich. They can build new stadium anytime. Inter is poor. We can't build it without new sugar daddy money from Arabs.
Milan is as poor as we are, both clubs have an about equal revenue the difference is how the money is spend and how the club is run. We run the club as if we had a much higher revenue then we have.

San Donato also just refused a referendum and they want it to go through the entire bureaucracy process, they are in for the old classical long and exhausting Italian bureaucracy, it’s going to be years before they can dig the first hole in the ground and then that’s the first obstacle.

But we cant hold of any of our star player. We manage to develop them and then just to sold them to the premier league. We cant be consistent semi finalis in ucl being seller club. Look at ajax...
That’s the reality of serie a better get used too it, not gonna change no matter who our next owner turn out to be.

Though Milan as a club do not have over 400m debt. We have and it has an annual cost and I'm not even talking about the Oaktree debacle but the debt refinanced at the start of 2022 to 2027.

so our chances of building a stadium are better than Milans?

I read somewhere this morning (tutto, football italy) that there is an ongoing due diligence. If it is true, it means they are auditing our account (certainly with Zhang's approval). May be something happening this time.

But meetings regarding new stadium have been positive haven't they?

Yeah but you know Italy, just because you have a primarily talk that goes well doesn’t actually mean the process go fast or smoothly. This is Italy where bridges collapse because bureaucratic procedures stop it from happening, where antiquities crumbled away because of lengthy inadequate bureaucracy and lack of finances to prevent it. On top you can hardly dig a hole without it needing to go through a archaeological excavation, especially not the size of a stadium, making sometimes the whole process more expensive then the project itself.

Bureaucracy is one of the main reasons why economical growth has been put to a hault in more then two decades. On top the country is decayed to it core by decades if not centuries of corruption on the highest level and highest magnitude.

I’ll be dead and buried twice before a stadium see the light of day.

Juve play by the books or rather that is the story we tell ourselves because we can not find other rational explanations, this basically mean bribing and pulling strings in this context.

Jesus man, you make Italy sound like its Zimbabwe. Italian bureaucracy used to be an outlier but these days is no worse than it is in Canada, or Spain or Texas or any other Western jurisdiction. Italy was fine until the EU destroyed it.

If tuttosport is the only media outlet reporting due diligence process going on, there is probably no due diligence process going on. When Marco Bellinazzo from Il Sole 24 Ore starts to talk about the subject, then I'm listening more carefully.

Our books for 22-23 close, apparently, at -85million in losses.

I guess 50mil or so of that will be financing costs, so finally for the first time ever - with a run to the CL final - we are in the position where ownership is starting to have the majority impact on our financials.

Will review in detail when they're published.

Now, if we can maintain CL finals every year, and cut costs a little, we could be financially sustainable if we changed ownership (Note that result would be like -63mil if digitalbits had actually paid)

Financial stability is a myth. You think you like it, but you don't.

Because your idea of being financially stable is fucked up. Clubs like Dortmund and Napoli are stable, look how their fans loved it when they sold Bellingham Haaland Kim Fabian Ruiz... Look how you guys loved it when we tried to do the same thing and sold Onana, Brozovic

You want a sugar daddy, just fucking admit it lmao. Because as Inter fans, you don't bring anywhere near enough commercial power to the club for what you want in return from the club. Sugar daddy is the only ownership that can fund the deficit.
