I'm watching R. Sociedad - Granada. Man this Kubo guy is a machine. The player we should be looking at, he is fucking fast.
I think he plays as right winger which we don't have that spot in our formation right now plus seems we are not interested in Rm talents or youth the opposite of Meelan.
I really like this guy, his style of playing kinda reminds me of Messi.

ESPN predicts Inter comes third in the group stage due to losing too many key players. Do they even follow Serie A just a little?

I'm not insulated, just stunned.

We "lost" a key player like Dzeko. Did we, really? lol When he finds out we lost Correa too, we will be 4th. And he didn't mention Brozovic, even though his key argument is losiong major players. He mentions Onana though....

Playing Real Sociedad in Spain first, oof. As long as we don't lose this one and go beat Benfica at home, that is the way!

Not going to be an easy group, but we are used to it by now.

This group is wide open and any of the four teams could finish top, thereby making it into the round of 16. Despite reaching last season's final before losing to Manchester City in Istanbul, Inter have lost goalkeeper André Onana and strikers Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window, making them far weaker than they were 12 months ago.

Benfica were beaten by Inter at the quarterfinal stage last season, but they are the favourites to win the group. It won't be easy for the Portuguese champions, though, because Salzburg have proved themselves to be a strong group stage competitor -- especially at home -- while Real Sociedad are also capable of beating every team in the group.

Salzburg are likely to be the team to watch because of their ability to constantly unearth young talent to replace the players they have moved on. Sadio Mané, Erling Haaland and Benjamin Sesko have all come through the Salzburg system before leaving for bigger clubs, so it will be intriguing to see who emerges this time around.

MUST-SEE MATCH: Benfica vs. Inter

The Italian team eliminated Benfica on the way to the final last season, but summer departures have weakened Simone Inzaghi's squad; this clash will shed light on whether Inter can be competitive again this year.

Inter's history as three-time winners and their proud history will ensure they are under intense pressure to emerge from the group, but they will need to get at least one positive result against Benfica to avoid being dragged into a scrap for second place.

PREDICTION: Benfica, Salzburg, Inter, Real Sociedad

Benfica's recent pedigree and the intimidating Estadio da Luz make them favourites to top the group, but it could be close all the way until matchday six with all teams being of a similar level.

Salzburg have proved to be a competent outfit against wealthier clubs from stronger leagues in recent seasons while Real Sociedad's success in finishing fourth in La Liga highlights their quality. If Inter are strong, they will make the top two, but they look to have lost too many key players in the summer.

"Mark Ogden and Julien Laurens" don't know what they're talking about.

I think many of us (including me) underestimated two years of work under Inzaghi and that after 2 years of work under proper coach we should look like a team with a clear plan and ideas and with some foundation to build on. I guess the reason we underestimated this is cause when was really the last time we had coach that long?!

We are still most likely weaker individually in first 11 than last season but one more season of experience and building the team and more depth should cover for some of that this season.

It’s still annoying we can only submit 23 players, but good that Asllani got that last spot.

Last season he didn't have a bench, so hopefully this season there won't be a repeat of 12 league losses.

Not sure if we could blame lack of options in the bench for those 12 league losses tbh.

To a certain degrees, it does. Just look at our attack last season. Mostly just Lautaro and Džeko playing, Lukaku and Correa missing for half a season

If Arna and Sanchez aren't total duds and win't get injured, this is a huge improvement. Idk, I don't think they are as good as some people think, but here we are. Just the availability could be enough.

Sensi is too fragile - its like a wasted spot having him on the roster because more likely than not - he won't be fit.

BTW fuck ESPN and all their outlets. All they do is shit on inter non-stop. it is honestly ridiculous.
