England leage is among 4 best leage, no body is denaing that, but that doesn't qualify those 4 countires and England to be host of EVERY WC.

Your whole argument is based on the fact I'm English, which I'm not, I just don't see how a country that doesn't have half the infrastructure that England has could possibly be considered a better venue for the world cup.

World Cup bids should be based on (a)stadia; (b)infrastructure; (c)how foreign fans are likely to be received and I'm afraid Russia falls down on all of those.

The Australians are also complaining quite a lot.

You're naive if you think these world cups weren't bought, this is the organisation that has put Lionel Messi in pole position for the Ballon d'Or. Why? Because Messi is the most marketable name in football at the moment.

I don't care if Russia or Qatar are hosting it, what I care about is the way it was done, and independent observers have said Russia and Qatar are risky choices compared with England/Spain/USA/Australia...

Well there's no denying that money was involved in the decisions, but perhaps they are trying to expand football culture into these countries. South Africa didn't exactly have a top football culture either and the past WC was a success.

What I'm really worried about in regards to Russia (as well as Poland/Ukraine for Euro 2012) are the ultras. Eastern Europe is notorious for ultras and hooliganism, even more so than England, Italy etc. It's not a myth, just look at what happened with the Spartak fans yesterday. Russia must find a way to control things like this if the WC is going to be successful there.

Qatar I don't have a problem with other than the possible expenses involved for traveling fans, but I read that they will be quite accommodating to foreigners (no strict dress code, there will be alcohol, etc) and the plans look impressive. Still wish the USA had gotten it though.

domesetic leagues have nothing to do with it. When USA hosted in 94, what was their domesttic league like...?

USA barely even had a domestic league in '94. After the WC our league MLS was formed and gradually expanded, our national team got better and a few American players even went to European leagues. And while the sport still isn't as big here as baseball and American football are, there was still at least some sort of boost.
