Gudmunson hardly qualifies as an attacker, he will be a rotational player and give us some offensive dept in the offence, something we currently have issues with. Not one of our offensive subs are players you can anticipate to score coming from the bench , he will give us some danger coming from the bench something we surely could use.

He isn’t a player I personally dream about, but I’m also not writing him completely off, as I can see some logic in it with our lack of financial resources.

This looks so fake.

I mean look at the name of the source..... This was taken from an interview from Calafiori
Yes, I remember it now. I already doubt that Calafiori said it as well.

How Gudmunson fits in Limone 3-5-2? this guy is a trequartista or a winger, to play 4-2-3-1 ... 4-3-3 etc.. it's like bringing back Politano.

He plays in a 3-5-2 right now. He's nothing like a winger imo - does not have the pace for the position.

The closest comparison from our team to Gudmundsson is probably Sanchez, although not exactly the same type of player.

The dynamic may have changed with the Acerbi/De Vrij situation, not holding my breath...

So it would be Alexis out and him in.
And Arna out and Taremi in.

We still lack a poacher.

Gudmundsson resources

Page 12 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Inter have identified six players who they’d be willing to sell this summer in order to help generate enough funds to secure a deal for Gudmundsson in the summer, wanting to beat out their European rivals.

The first of these is Lucien Agoume, who is currently at Sevilla on a loan deal with an €8m buy option attached, and another player on the chopping block is Joaquin Correa, who seems destined to return to the Nerazzurri as Olympique Marseille look set to miss out on a Champions League spot.
Forza Marseille 🥲
Other Inter players who could be sold as part of the Gudmundsson strategy include €4m valued Gaetano Oristanio, €7m valued Zinho Vanheusden, Ionut Radu and Filip Stankovic.
Zinho''s value has halved?! I know, serious injuries... But still

Zinho's worth is exactly 0 cents as nobody will pay a penny for his broken body. Maybe we can use him as 6th option defender as he will be club trained and on a very low salary.

That’s Martinez (if we can keep him), but please point me towards an attacker that score the same as him that is actually attainable, Because I know you can’t mention one.

Your not realistic getting one with our budget, certainly not as a third option.

It’s almost cut in stone who is our starters if we can keep both, the wage those two receive simply means they are meant as starters. With whatever wage can be offered simply put an obstacle of the quality you can get, besides there no budget to buy one unless you sell one of the two.

We are currently talking about sacrificing yet another of our great talent for a mediocre player…

I think that Taremi, Zielinski and possibly Gudmundsson will surprise many people at Inter. Inter's strength is its teamwork not in individuals. The management has been monitoring these players way a head of time. They have certain characteristics that will show up as the missing pieces in Inzaghi's system.

Arnautaovic and Sanchez, on the other hand, were unplanned panic buys nearing the end of transfers window with no better options available.

Come on now. We all know the main reason we are signing Zielinski and particularly Taremi is because they are bosman transfers. They are cheap opportunities to get a quality player, atleast in Zielinskis case.

The notion that a player like Taremi's characteristics should somehow be missing pieces of a puzzle to make Inters teamwork reach a new stratosphere of performance is hilarious at best.

On the contrary, whereas some clubs adopt a short term approach, we are modelled on the Chinese long term strategy. Steven has instilled in us a the sense that we think in terms of dynasties, or epochs. We patiently monitor players long enough until they are available on free transfers.
