Like i already said, Italy arent a joke in europe because of the player potential, sure its weaker than the EPL, but the main difference is the outdated tactical approach.
Nonsense, we pressed the fuck out of them, there was nothing outdated in tonight's Inter approach. You sound like those that keep banging the same drum even back from the 90's when oil states still weren't buying English clubs.

Sad that it has come to this, some fans are happy that for 15-20 minutes of 2nd half Inter showed that we can "compete" against Liverpool. Last weekend, Burnley also showed they could compete against Liverpool, perhaps a bit more than Inter did tonight. This is loser talk.

To me, this game showed the gulf between top teams and Inter. We are not even close. Just the fact that Klopp thought he could give a 18 yr old his debut at San Siro showed that gulf. And the kind of players they could bring in when they needed to push for goals, compared to shit we had sitting on the bench. Please don't delude yourself, we are not even close to competing with the likes of Liverpool.

We also struggle against all top teams now, not just in Europe. In the 2nd half of last season when Conte's team finally found its rhythm, we regularly beat top teams in Italy. Then we sold some of our best players in Hakimi and Lukaku without replacing them with quality. We took a step backwards instead of forwards, and it shows - in 10 games against top teams this season (Real, Liverpool, Milan, Juve, Napoli, Atalanta) we won 1. Just 1 out of 10.

Fuck Suning! If they cannot invest in Inter or at least match Agnelli's commitment to Juve, they should get the fuck out. They risk destroying whatever they built over the last 4 years.

After another drink, it's giving up that second goal that really hurts, not saying the first wasn't bad. It just makes scoring 0-3 away really difficult.
Lets just focus at shoot at least 1 time to target at our home...

Can we stop this inferiority complex garbage? Any team can get a positive result this far out. Salzburg got a result against Bayern who is an even stronger team.

It's 90 minutes. Not 9000. The smaller the sample, the larger the opportunity for an upset.

All English media is surprised that Inter pretty much neutralized Liverpool for 75 minutes and didn't allow them a shot on goal and here we are in the Inter forums saying how shit we were.
Klopp will remember this match for a long time.

They didn't even know that this is our football style. I'm not gonna say I'm surprised by some of you. Several of you are more prone to [English] football media manipulation than PL fans are.
Wtf are you talking about? Liverpool have struggled in a lot of their games for the past month and a half. Burnley 3 days ago created more clear cut chances than we did today, English media aren’t surprised at all.

Pressed the hell of out them with less overall possession and 0 shots on target. Great tactics indeed. Time to realise you cant use the same approach against liverpool as against Salarnitana perhaps?

Wasn't some shithead critizing me for being negative after I predicted this match almost exactly?
If you mean me (not sure if you do) I merely discussed with you and gave my opinion.

How many chances did Real have VS P$G? I've seen Rannes give them far more trouble.

But guess what, nobody cares. Stop overeacting. Nobody cares how Liverpool played versus some relegation fodder in England.

They had 2 shots on targert, not 10. It was a close match won by their bench.

So for all matches this Feb so far, we lost to Milan, won against Roma, drawed Napoli and lost to Liverpool. All are heavy matches, result is so so, not what we want but please just be the lowest point of season.

You should ask people who are surrounded by English media and watched this game from BT Sport rather than pretend you're the ambassador.

The main point of discussion was how Inter played like they expected Liverpool to play and how difficult the game was for Liverpool despite their expectations of a relatively easy night.
Even Klopp and Van Dijk were asked those silly questions.

Just bitter and sad after this result, I feel we desereved at least draw if not a win.. Congrats on effort but again our finishing cost us..

This Lautaro situation needs to be solved somehow, get him to click with the squad again he seems fully disconected from the team.
Everything goes well until we come to last third of pitch, and then it is awful.

Nothing is lost in three weeks time a lot can happen, 2-0 is not such terrible result we just need to put it in once in a while.

The irony is that the only game where we didn't look in control was the Napoli game. Yet we lost the other two big ones.

Hopefully this is a message the kid will tell his father when he leaps out of the jet in Nanjing.

I wish people here would start acknowledging that a big part of the problem is the outdated italian approach.

Serie A =/= europe.

Inter arent this much behind liverpool player for player, despite having old slow dinos like Dzeko, to embarrass themselves 0-2. Its a profound tactical problem. Rubentus will lose to Villarreal as well, no doubt, then you will see.

Do you mean it? Or you are seeking attention? I cannot tell. It was so obvious our approach was on point, you just need to change Dzeko to Vlahović tonight and I am sure we won this game already.

We might want to focus a bit more on set pieces, which has nothing to do with the game approach.

Also Simone > Spalletti by miles, I appreciated both, and what they did for Inter, but come on let's be real; Spalletti's team doesn't even have dominating periods against big team, they have chaos moments for both team, and sometimes his team scored instead of the others.
Plus, I think this is what you get when you want the team to be more creative and roaming, the mindset is going to be less rigid and discipline to push through the finish line, which is fine if we can capitalize the opportunities!!!!

Plus most of our players and coach don't have that many big game experience, which is can lead to game winning moments even the performance doesn't justify it.

Good thing is we played a good match, and we are not lightyears behind the biggest teams in Europe, we just need to work on a few areas and with Marotta, I think we can become a semi-final team in 2 years.

Liverpool‘s previous away games before this game were against:

1-0 vs Burnley: Closest game to ours probably. Liverpool scored off a corner but Weghorst ( Burnely’s striker) missed several one on one’s. Burnley definitely created more clear cut chances than us

3-1 vs Crystal Palace: Liverpool fans themselves have no idea how they won this. Alisson was in god mode, they got a pen that never was. And Palace caused them way more issues than we did

0-1 vs Leicester: Lost to Leicester. Leciester have been awful btw this season. Salah did miss a pen but aside from that Liverpool were very very poor

2-2 vs Tottenham: Spurs missed easy chances through Dele and Kane. Really should have won that game

1-0 vs Wolves: Scored at the last kick off the game through Origi

As you can see they have that great team’s ability to get results even when they’re not playing well but we can’t sit here and pretend like we’ve done something crazy when the likes of Crystal Palace and Burnley caused them more issues

Yea changing Dzeko would have made all the difference, that would have meant inter would have had 20 shots on target instead of 0 right? Brain power 3000 🥴

Not sure what the Spaletti rant was about or why it was directed at me, but w/e.

Inter ARE lighyears from reaching a semi final place in the CL and the Italian game being heavily outdated defintely plays a part, anyone thinking otherwise is an ignorant fool.🥴🥴

Well here we are sitting and pretending as if they're treating a CL knockout game the same way they are some random PL games, most of which without Salah and/or Mane.

Random PL games? They’re fighting to try and win the most challenging league in the world and they can’t afford to drop anymore points. This is where I wish you actually watched other leagues so we could have a proper discussion

There will be a few more shots which Dzeko passed and turned into a corner, also he would make LM much more dangerous. We a striker that can threaten them, so the defenders would have a higher chance getting out of position, and more clinical and can attack the big ASS space Liverpool had in the back.

Fuck Suning! We could have won this if we had a couple of quality attacking players.
We tried to get vlahovic in the summer and fuckmisso said no a chance.

Had to get Something and we spent 30 on Correa…
