Btw, what do you guys think of selling Cou for Kovacic? Was it worth it?
No. Surely could've kept Coutinho and still bought Kovacic with money we used to bring in shitheads like Rocchi, Schelotto etc.Btw, what do you guys think of selling Cou for Kovacic? Was it worth it?

I dont even know if you are trolling or being serious anymore
We needed more of a player like Kovacic in our midfield to keep things ticking.
If it was up to me, I would have kept Coutinho as well as getting Kovacic, but we obviously couldnt get Kovacic without selling Coutinho.
Theres no right or wrong really, its just who we needed more. Even if Coutinho performs at Liverpool, he might not have had the same growth here, especially considering his development stalled completely here.
We should just be happy if Kovacic performs reasonably ok here, even if Coutinho goes on to become the best player ever, we were not wrong to get a player we really needed in our midfield.

Dominated the game, kept winning us the ball, finding Cassano in good positions, and playing a few passes himself. Our gameplay was entirely built around him.I missed the game, but from what I heard Kova was superb and showed that he was not an AM. Is that true?
Big reason for Coutinho's stall (apart from injuries) was the 352, which was conveniently dropped the moment he was sold.
My worry is it's gonna be Pirlo all over again, we trade him to AC Milan for Bojan Krkić - we end up with a shit player, Kovacic becomes one of the best players on earth with our rivals, we sold up just before he matured into the best midfielder on earth. It's the Inter way.
But I really hope this doesn't happen and we hang on to him for another decade yet. Him and Benassi are the same age, yet Kova was just so far ahead in terms of quality. This kid is gonna be amazing.
