Sounds like not in our lifetimeInter’s Corporate CEO Alessando Antonello has provided an update on the club’s prospective new stadium, revealing that the Nerazzurri have an exclusivity agreement for an area of land in Rozzano running until 2024.
Both Inter and rivals Milan have been exploring options for new stadia away from the San Siro area of the city after it was declared that the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza could not be demolished.
The Stadio Meazza will turn 70 years old in 2026, at which point the ground will become protected by the historic monuments and cultural icons laws in Italy.
Antonello, who has recently been re-elected as the Italian representative on the board of the European Club Association, told Sky Sport Italia: “As announced, we have identified an alternative area, in Rozzano, we have signed an exclusivity agreement until the end of April.
“The intention is to delve deeper into the area, which is very interesting because there is already an arena there where important sporting and cultural events already take place.
However, despite the Stadio Meazza’s cultural landmark status, the stadium will not be fit for use in a few years’ time unless improvements are made, Antonello explained.
“We continue on this alternative plan. At San Siro, we have had confirmation that in 2025, if the conditions are not improved, a restriction will be placed on the second tier.”
Antonello then provided a brief timeline of when plans could begin to move forwards. He told Sky: “We have already started making a very detailed assessment of the area, we have to wait for the approval of the municipality of Rozzano. From January onwards we could enter into a process with the municipal administration to evaluate the feasibility of the project.”
I think Rozzano would approve this faster than you think. It makes a lot of sense to me. Lots of space and judging by the comments looks like it would be near the forum which is at the end of the M2 line. Build it.Inter director provides update on new stadium

it sucks in the US the tax payers would pay to give inter a super stadium with everything the fans and the teams want so Inter wouldn’t move to another city
Yeah, but then it would be unique instead of euro cookie cutterYeah but then it'd be American.

You described the entire neighborhood there buddy. Don't be a supremacistItaly is the Bulgaria of Western Europe... Lots of potential, impotent management.
Umm, what now? Did everyone miss this? The stadium is going to have the capacity reduced again basically?had confirmation that in 2025, if the conditions are not improved, a restriction will be placed on the second tier.”

Greece >>> Bulgaria.
Have you ever visited the Bulgarian seaside, for example?
So much this if they had any sense in em thy d do everything to keep atleast one of bbilan and inter in the san siro but noo they are doing the exact oposit and make us staying there basically impossible..The municipality of Milan is simply a disgrace. The San Siro is an iconic building without which the city would not look the same and to hear Antonello say that starting in 2025 it will be impossible to inhabit the second ring unless there is a serious renovation, shows very well how much they do not take this legendary stadium seriously. disgrace.
With a little shift in numbers the stadium will be opened in 2060.2028... Yeah... this thread was opened in 2006.
