I'm pretty sure a coach would know better than any of us, and if he decides Cou should start, then he's good enough.
I still believe he proved enough against Werder.

When was the last time Pandev or Sneijder gave a good pass? instead of just shooting mindlessly (or just losing the ball happily)

Not exactly an assist, but more like a tackle or something close to it. Anyway, he's talking about past games I guess, since Sneijder was always aiming the sky :p
Last game he was great, though.

Inter Striker Philippe Coutinho Gives Thanks To Javier Zanetti & Maicon For Helping Him Improve

Inter striker Philippe Coutinho has thanked Javier Zanetti and Maicon for helping him settle in at the club.

Inter winger Philippe Coutinho has thanked captain Javier Zanetti and Maicon for helping him settle in at the Nerazzurri.

Coutinho tried his best to create a goal, but the Beneamata failed to score in a scoreless draw against Juventus.

"It was an important, but tough match. We lacked the all-important goal, but we showed that we can play well," the Brazilian told Sky post-match. "We now await our next match, so that we can get a positive result.

"It is still only the start of the season, and there is a long way to go. We have many champions such as Eto'o, Milito and Sneijder, and they can all score.

"I want to also thank everyone that has helped me, in particular Javier Zanetti and Maicon," added Coutinho.

He had an average game, but he's starting to show class, that's good for a player that a club put all their hopes on

I just didn't understood why Benitez didn't made Cou switched flanks with Eto'o, he could had been more dangerous, as Grygera was a pain in his arse

Then Eto'o wouldn't be as useful.

I asked the very same thing in the match thread, didn't read this! :D

Then Eto'o wouldn't be as useful.

A goal or an assist would have been useful and he did neither. And it's not that he was helping defending the left flank that much.
Not that Eto'o had a bad game but trying some runs from the right was a valid option and he never did it. I think he could have outclassed any of Jube's LB

why not? with his current form he would be useful even as a wingback

Cou was more dangerous on the left at the beggining of the game, but when he switched sides he lost himself for moments in the game

Well he was practically playing as CF for a long time in 2nd half. I'm sure Rafa must have thought of exploiting something with that, but don't see what.

His performance is much better as a left wing. When he played as right wing, his performance is no better than Pandev. As Eto'o doesn't want to play right hand side anymore, Inter has no natural right wingers besides an inexperienced player, Biabiany... It's sad...

He was good on the left flank but switching to the right nullified him. He doesn't have the speed or strenght to beat his fullback on the outside. So he prefers to go on the inside but playing on the right this means he has to go onto his weaker foot which doesn't work that well.

But I understand why rafa wants eto'o on the left so he can come in on his stronger foot.

Yes but IMO Cou's biggest weakness is his lack of strength and the fact that he doesnt know what to do without the ball. Experience in other words. IMO he suits our team more than Pandev.

Pandev is a key player in the team, at least with Mou he was, when he was on the pitch the team played better

He was bad yesterday. Barely did anything right.

I thought he had a better first touch.
