One thing you realize really quick while watching these tops teams in cl is how much we miss pace all over the pitch. I would say that's the biggest stumbling block for us to be competitive on the highest level. We have technical quality, just badly missing pace, at least on the level these other teams have it.

Acquiring veteran free agents in the mid-30's is not going to help us with this. It is a huge shortcoming in our game.
