there would have been other attacksin previous world cups or at least threats
World Cup terrorist threat made
Not to mention the Munich massacre.

thank you for proving that any venue is in danger of terrorism and not just the middle east
I never argued any different. I only doubt Qatar's ability to deal with terrorism.
besides, security was already considered by fifa and they seemed to think that it will be perfectly safe
one would think they would put all their wealth to good use on this one...
compared to the world renowned counter-terrorism forces of south africa i don't think that it should be an issue
And air conditioning will be done in a greener way, btw stop hating on it.
Also all the stadiums built will be dismantled and moved to African nations where they will be used again.
Wrapping stadiums in solar panels isn't exactly cost free.
Nor is upkeep in Africa.
does it saden you so much that a country so small can outdo you guys in every way possible.
Speaking from Zurich later, Sunil Gulati, the president of the United States Soccer Federation, sounded boggled by FIFA’s awarding two World Cups at the same time, which inevitably led to FIFA-like machinations.
“That’s not how things are done in our country,” Gulati said.
It saddens me that a country that plays by the rules can be outdone by a country that bribes its way to hosting a World Cup.
- They will build 12 stadiums which is more than enough for the tournament, but here's the kicker: All stadiums will be modular. After the tournament, Qatar doesn't need them, so they will be dismantled and donated to developing nations for free.
they will be dismantled
they will donate the stadiums after they finish using them
