I've read into the most recent reports, lemme compile the most relevant ones for ya.

French outlet Sports Zone:

Liverpool, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid are ready to join Inter Milan in the race to sign Athletico Paranaense and Brazil goalkeeper Bento.

According to Apitofinal via FcInterNews:

Sporting have entered the fray for Bento.

I don't know these sources but Okoye rumours have intensified since these came out.

Sporting really do need a keeper and Bento was promised he can leave this summer.

True. Same for Udinese - who have been providing reliable keepers in the past.

I remember our lads having a tough time beating Okoye. How's his footwork?

GdS reported that Inter want Bento to be the first signing of the Oaktree era.

Inter wanted Trubin as well...

The Corriere report that as far as Bento is concerned, his only priority for this summer would be to join Inter.

Makes sense after Julio Cesar's stint.

Bento seems like a grateful guy that won't betray his club by forcing a move (hurting their income) - which reminds me of Trubin.

So all these links to other keepers could be a negotiation tactic to get Bento for 15M. After all, that was the budget for Trubin (and we all saw how that turned out...)

Okoye is a great talent. Great reflexes, great precence, okay ball handling (not near as good as Onana or Sommer for example), but poor judgement from time to time.

His performance against us says it all really. He’s isn’t ready to start for a club like Inter yet. And maybe we aren’t looking for someone to replace Sommer already this year.

But given the numbers and pro’s and con’s I suppose we could have gone for Di Gregorio better instead in case of Okoye.
